During my visit to the beach, I had the pleasure of exploring it during the off-season. Despite the time of year, the beach was impeccably clean and provided a serene atmosphere for a leisurely walk. To my delight, I stumbled upon a restaurant situated on the beach that was open for business. The food was nothing short of excellent and the waitress who served us was incredibly helpful. I cannot recall her name, but her service was unforgettable. Adjacent to the beach was a caravan park, although I could not determine its popularity given the time of year. I am eager to return during the summer months to provide a more accurate review of the beach and its surroundings. For those interested, the name of the restaurant was STRANDHAUS, and while I am unsure if I can share its website here, it is certainly worth a visit.

The beach stretches for approximately 100 meters and is located about 650 meters away from the toilets, beach bars, and other amenities. It is a clean sandy beach with a few stones and a gradual slope into the water. At the beginning of the beach, there is a dispenser for dog bags. Please note that this dog beach has an admission fee, and you can purchase tickets at the entrance to Schönhagen.
Some drawbacks include the absence of a dog bar and dog showers to rinse off sand and saltwater. Additionally, there are no beach chairs available, and it is situated near the nudist area. However, to the north, there is a free and unrestricted dog beach with practically no further disadvantages. It is important to remember that leashes are mandatory along the entire promenade.
Overall, this is considered one of the better dog beaches along the Baltic Sea.
