The scenery of the beach may seem appealing to some, but in reality, it is nothing more than a superficial facade. The so-called "nice place" is plagued with litter and pollution, making it an unpleasant environment to be in. One can only hope that the authorities take action to clean up this once-beautiful spot before it becomes irreversibly damaged.

The beauty of this beach is simply breathtaking! Despite the strong winds on the day of my visit, there was a sheltered bay area that allowed me to take a refreshing swim. While exploring, I came across an abandoned hotel that had seen better days, and I couldn't resist climbing through the fence to get down to the beach. However, there is a main road nearby that leads to a restaurant and well-maintained washrooms, making it an ideal location for family picnics. The beach also offers plenty of shady spots under the trees to relax and unwind. Although I haven't tried the restaurant yet, I plan to do so soon. If you're searching for a secluded beach to spend the day in Shallotte, then this is the place to be!
