The beach for locals. Not many tourists during the week. Better visibility and snorkeling than Vaiava to the north. Less crowded, too. Currents can be strong. Nice green, clean park where many families come for the day, and a small but clean rocky beach. Wear water shoes.

Edit: there is a coral garden (with anchored underwater signage in French and English) just north of the beach, 250 meters from shore. It is about halfway between Vaiava and Mahana).
