This beach in Germany is absolutely incredible. It is well-maintained and has beautiful white sand along the lakeside. The atmosphere is cozy and the water is crystal clear. The food and drinks are great, although a bit pricey. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as ziplining and kayaking. It's the perfect place for a quick beachside getaway on the weekend. They even have event spaces available for parties or weddings.

The beach section on the Lake is lovely, with its nice white sandy area. To enter, adults need to pay an entry fee of £6, which can be done online by registering and showing your QR code at the entrance. Additionally, you have the option to book in advance and rent beach chairs, cabanas, and even 'huts' for a group. These huts come with gas grilling facilities, tables, and plenty of chairs. There is currently one beach bar available, offering small food options like fries and wurst. However, it would be great to have another food/bar option, as the lines can get long, especially considering that it's not even full summer season yet. Overall, it's a really nice place to spend time at, and it's easily accessible by bike from downtown Cologne.
