The lake is filled with algae, but there is a boat out there mowing it down, which is a positive. However, now there are floating algae bits everywhere and the water is murky. It's disappointing that this work is being done on a hot day when everyone wants to swim. Despite this, the children had fun building towers with the algae. Stand up paddling is not allowed for bird protection, which is understandable. However, you can still use your own pedal boats and rowing boats. I found the €5 entrance fee to be a bit steep.
