The beach is nothing special, but the view is great. You can sit on the dam/bridge that goes to the other side, where you can get on a boat to Pontikonisi island. And you can watch the airplanes coming and going from Corfu airport. They fly directly over your head!

The hotel is old, and the rooms are not as depicted in the photos; they look much worse in person.
However, there is a positive side: the beautiful view and several pools, including one with slides for children up to about 10 years old.
The food is not fancy but quite tasty (we have other all-inclusive experiences in Greece to compare it to).
The beach is not well-arranged, with loungers placed too close to each other.

A lovely long-stretched sandy beach with warm water and gentle waves.
We hired quad bikes to get to Marathias beach - the drive was beautiful and navigating to the spot was quite easy and straight forward. There was sufficient parking and restaurants available. We would recommend Fisheye restaurant for fresh seafood delicacies.
The shaded beach beds and bean bags cost us €25 for 3 people and was well worth the cost.
The beach can get a little windy towards the end of the day but it’s refreshing helps with the summer heat!
Would definitely recommend this beach.

A lovely long-stretched sandy beach with warm water and gentle waves.
We hired quad bikes to get to Marathias beach - the drive was beautiful and navigating to the spot was quite easy and straight forward. There was sufficient parking and restaurants available. We would recommend Fisheye restaurant for fresh seafood delicacies.
The shaded beach beds and bean bags cost us €25 for 3 people and was well worth the cost.
The beach can get a little windy towards the end of the day but it’s refreshing helps with the summer heat!
Would definitely recommend this beach.

The sandy beach in Lefkimmi is a hidden gem that requires a leisurely twenty-minute walk from the town center, but the journey is well worth it. Even in the final week of September, the beach exudes a lively atmosphere that makes it feel like the peak of the season, despite the lack of tourists. While there is only one café, the sunbeds are complimentary, and the crystal-clear water is as warm as it is in the middle of summer. This destination is ideal for families with children, as there are numerous activities to keep them entertained, and the shallow waters provide a safe environment for them to learn how to swim. The beach is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
