Jeeva Beloam is a truly special place, but it’s important to come with realistic expectations. Set in a remote and breathtaking location with its own private beach—a rarity anywhere in the world—it offers an immersive experience in nature. This is an off-the-grid, open-air retreat where you’ll be surrounded by the natural elements, including insects, monkeys, and the occasional friendly local dog.
Accommodation is limited, with only around 11 huts, which makes the experience feel even more private and peaceful. We stayed in one of the elevated huts with direct views of the beach, ocean, and surrounding hills. It felt deeply connected to the landscape, yet thoughtfully designed for comfort. The room featured a large, comfortable bed, both air conditioning and a fan, and a bathroom with hot water and luxury amenities. By night, soft lighting gently illuminated both the indoor and outdoor areas, creating a serene atmosphere.
Outside, there was a large daybed and two inviting lounge chairs—everything you need to unwind in such a natural setting.
The staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating, always happy to assist. There are a few excursions available, and breakfast was included in our package with a good range of choices. Evening meals, while decent, felt overpriced for the style and location of the resort. A more varied and appropriately priced menu would elevate the overall experience.
That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-immersed escape far from the noise of the world—raw, beautiful, and soulfully simple—I highly recommend Jeeva Beloam.
