This beach is amazing! Being a local beach, you can truly avoid feeling like a tourist. They had authentic donuts and tamales available for purchase. The cliffs provide shade from the sun by 3pm, which is good to know. I highly recommend taking a leisurely walk and even crossing the water to reach the more secluded part of the beach. You can either wade through waist-deep water or attempt the seemingly challenging climb over the rocks, but it's definitely worth the effort to get there. We felt comfortable enough to leave our belongings and snorkel in the water for over 50 minutes. The area near the rocks is even better! Don't forget to bring some tequila and have an amazing time, just like we did.

While searching for a spot to snorkel and cool off, we unexpectedly discovered this amazing beach that is popular among the locals. Right away, we noticed the contrast between the pushy vendors at the harbor and the more laid-back atmosphere on the beach. We decided to walk towards the quieter section of the beach and found a lovely spot near a charming small family. We felt completely safe and comfortable enough to go snorkeling together. Don't forget to bring a cooler with some drinks and food because you won't want to leave!
