Although the lighthouse was inaccessible, the long 52-minute drive from Celestún (mostly on a narrow dirt road) was absolutely worth it.
The photos fail to capture its true beauty. There wasn't a single person in sight for miles, allowing us to freely stroll along what appeared to be an untouched beach stretching for miles.
The seashells were truly remarkable and filled us with wonder.
