To reach Cudugnon Cave, you must traverse a rocky passage, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear for stability. As you step inside, a sense of anticipation fills the air, for you are about to witness a spectacle unlike any other. The cave's grand entrance, with its towering ceiling and massive stalactite pillars reaching up to 40 meters, sets the stage for an extraordinary experience.
While exploring, exercise caution as some rocks can be slippery. However, the well-placed lighting ensures you can admire the cave's splendor while safely navigating its terrain. The cave's natural beauty is simply awe-inspiring, a testament to the Earth's incredible ability to craft stunning works of art over millennia.

Living near the El Nido beach has been an absolute blessing. The beach itself is stunning, offering picturesque views and a serene ambiance. During the tourist season, it buzzes with activity, with visitors from all over the world adding a vibrant touch to our daily surroundings.
For me, this beach is more than just a stretch of sand; it's our go-to spot for morning and evening walks with my daughter. The best part? It's free and accessible for everyone in the community.
While swimming might not be ideal due to the adjacent hotels along the shore, the beauty and tranquility of the beach compensate for it. The sight of boats lined up for tours adds a unique charm to the landscape and signifies the beginning of exciting adventures exploring the nearby islands.
Living near the El Nido beach isn't just about the sand and sea; it's a hub of activity, a gathering place for locals and tourists alike, and the starting point for unforgettable island hopping experiences.
It's truly a gem in our neighborhood, offering relaxation, natural beauty, and a touch of adventure—all just steps away from home.
What visitors have to understand is that while this is a beach, it is also a point of embarkation and debarkation of mainly passenger tour boats or private boats. Local businesses as well as homes are built close to the water. Don't be misled by the main images that show clear water and golden sandy beaches. While this may have been the case many years ago, it is not so much the case nowadays. When we visited in December 2023, hardly any locals were swimming in the water, only a few idealistic tourists who weren't aware of the quality of water. It was only last year where it was discovered that the water quality of the water in the bay did not meet standard requirements because of pollution (oil spill) and water contamination (fecal coliform). So, please take that into consideration.
The only good thing to do during the day at this location, is just sitting on the beach and admiring the views. There is a considerable amount of people walking along the beach so don't expect any privacy or solitude. You'll notice a community of dogs running around and sleeping in the sand, which can be quite amusing. Just keep in mind where on the beach they "do their business." At night, the local bars and restaurants come alive.

The cave's grand entrance, with its towering ceiling and massive stalactite pillars reaching up to 40 meters, sets the stage for an extraordinary experience.

Living near the El Nido beach has been an absolute blessing. The beach itself is stunning, offering picturesque views and a serene ambiance. During the tourist season, it buzzes with activity, with visitors from all over the world adding a vibrant touch to our daily surroundings.
For me, this beach is more than just a stretch of sand; it's our go-to spot for morning and evening walks with my daughter. The best part? It's free and accessible for everyone in the community.
While swimming might not be ideal due to the adjacent hotels along the shore, the beauty and tranquility of the beach compensate for it. The sight of boats lined up for tours adds a unique charm to the landscape and signifies the beginning of exciting adventures exploring the nearby islands.
Living near the El Nido beach isn't just about the sand and sea; it's a hub of activity, a gathering place for locals and tourists alike, and the starting point for unforgettable island hopping experiences.
It's truly a gem in our neighborhood, offering relaxation, natural beauty, and a touch of adventure—all just steps away from home.
What visitors have to understand is that while this is a beach, it is also a point of embarkation and debarkation of mainly passenger tour boats or private boats. Local businesses as well as homes are built close to the water. Don't be misled by the main images that show clear water and golden sandy beaches. While this may have been the case many years ago, it is not so much the case nowadays. When we visited in December 2023, hardly any locals were swimming in the water, only a few idealistic tourists who weren't aware of the quality of water. It was only last year where it was discovered that the water quality of the water in the bay did not meet standard requirements because of pollution (oil spill) and water contamination (fecal coliform). So, please take that into consideration.
The only good thing to do during the day at this location, is just sitting on the beach and admiring the views. There is a considerable amount of people walking along the beach so don't expect any privacy or solitude. You'll notice a community of dogs running around and sleeping in the sand, which can be quite amusing. Just keep in mind where on the beach they "do their business." At night, the local bars and restaurants come alive.
