That place is not a safe place to go. It's overrun by a certain type of person who doesn't respect anyone's sexuality. The situation is getting worse every year, and it's only bearable during the summer when there's more people around.

That place is truly remarkable - after four decades of globe-trotting, it's my favorite destination. There's something special about it that I can't put into words. I'm in love with it!

La Caletilla is a petite beach, measuring no more than 50m long and 15m deep, situated to the west of the Balcón de Europa in Nerja. On occasion, the weather can be so extreme that the beach vanishes altogether. Yet, despite its size and the occasional disappearance, La Caletilla is easy to access and well worth a visit.

This beach has a nice mix of sand and pebbles, and offers plenty of lounge rentals for 10 euros (cash only) which includes two chairs and an umbrella. Additionally, there are small beach bars where you can purchase drinks to enjoy on your lounges.

Nerja's beaches are an incredible place to visit. The water, sand, and views are all stunningly beautiful. I absolutely adore Nerja and all of her beaches!
