In early September, when the weather was not too hot, we visited Sa Calobra, an ideal spot for a long walk or hike. You can take in some of the most picturesque views in Mallorca. I highly recommend Sa Calobra, but the roads can be a bit tricky, so go slowly and be mindful of any wild animals. Cyclists should definitely make the journey, as the scenery is breathtaking. It's a winding road that takes about an hour, but the views make it worth it. Don't forget to bring a camera! On the way, you can stop at a restaurant near the top of the mountain, which serves delicious food with a view of the sea. The beach itself is nestled between steep cliffs, and the water is crystal clear and beautiful. We chose to rent a small tour bus to take us, which stopped at all the lookout points. Location is incredible, with a view to die for! The beach is breathtaking but be warned, during peak season it's jam-packed with people (and even worse on the weekends when the locals flock there). The hotel is spotless and the family-run staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The only downside is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms, and the complete lack of privacy between balconies - no partitions to give you some seclusion, so you're stuck sitting on your tiny balcony with everyone around you.

This urban beach is a great spot for families with children. It's easy to access, with free parking right next to the beach club. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear, making it easy to spot fish and see the bottom of the sea. You can rent paddle boards and there are even boats with slides for the kids. Sadly, there were no BBQ boats. We visited in the morning, and although it was quite quiet, we heard it gets very crowded in the afternoon. The beach club opens at 10am, so you can get food and drinks from early morning, and there are sun beds and red umbrellas. There are also a few shops and a massage center nearby, which looks professional and has reasonable prices. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

We came here July 2023. Nice enough small beach surrounded by "exclusive" hotels.
Definitely not "senior friendly" as you have a short fairly steep hill and a number of stone steps to negotiate.
It was extremely busy with children and adults.
The main issue we had was that you cannot use ANY of the sunbeds on the beach unless you pre book the day before. They were also 40€ per person. Drinks etc from shop not bad cost wise.
(You can use the less comfortable beds after 2pm if you're lucky enough to get one but will still have to pay the daily charge)
If ur ok with a towel on a busy beach you will be happy with this beach.
Probably quieter out of season of course. Just not for us!

April 2022 brought a beautiful opportunity to witness a stunning sunset at the small and peaceful Cala. The access from Estellencs village is a bit challenging, yet still quite easy to manage. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a tranquil evening and take in the beauty of nature.

I highly recommend Sa Calobra, but the roads can be a bit tricky, so go slowly and be mindful of any wild animals. Cyclists should definitely make the journey, as the scenery is breathtaking. It's a winding road that takes about an hour, but the views make it worth it. Don't forget to bring a camera! On the way, you can stop at a restaurant near the top of the mountain, which serves delicious food with a view of the sea. The beach itself is nestled between steep cliffs, and the water is crystal clear and beautiful. We chose to rent a small tour bus to take us, which stopped at all the lookout points.
