Snorkeling at this beach was incredible and it's great for experienced swimmers. We were there for two days and saw a variety of fish, crabs, an octopus, and a turtle. However, the waves were quite strong, so it's best to stay away from the reefs and rocks. There's no lifeguard on duty, so make sure you take all the necessary precautions.

This beach near Castro is a sight to behold! Its black sand is stunning and the view of the sunrise is simply breathtaking. Plus, the hike to get there is great and it's conveniently located close to El Médano, making it easily accessible.

Beautiful beach, great for surfing, kite surfing, foil surfing and other water sports. There is a wooden promenade in the shopping area and a few small shops and coffee bars. Plenty of parking, including space for camper vans near the beach.

There are free toilets in the town square/ centre. Not far from. The airport (about 15 mins, €18 in a taxi due to the additional airport taxi charges)

That place is a paradise for sport fanatics, surfers and kite-flyers alike. Its beautiful natural landscape and high waves make it perfect for any kind of water sport. What's more, it's easy to access with free parking along the road nearby, and there's a lovely walk through the town with many nice cafes at the front.

Playa el medano II is far from amazing. The views are mediocre and the black sand is not as sparkly as it seems. The waves are nothing special either. The food is okay, but there's not much variety. clean, but it's nothing special. Not a gem.

Spectacular views on a couple of landmarks and also the airport. Parking is ok but be aware that it is a rough dirt strip. Still a good walk until the shoreline. The beach is always pretty frequented but ample space to find a free spot. There’s a life guard station and the sand is soft going into the water.

We took a snorkeling tour at playa de Abades. The reefs are very fun to snorkel and the beach is very quiet and nice. Cute shops and restaurants are right there by the beach and it felt a bit like Greece with the small white buildings. Locals told us to watch out for pickpocketers as it’s apparently an issue. However, we didn’t have any problems with our belongings getting stolen. Make sure to take the trek up to see the Ghost town. I wish we would have went on foot from the beach. We tried to drive to it but those roads are more for ATVs or bikes and not for regular cars. Definitely worth the trip though!

The beach is so natural without much human touch, a virgin beach. The best place to enjoy the beautiful scenery around whether you are traveling alone or with a group because not many visitors know this beautiful beach. The water is so clear, with crystal blue and a gray sand and gravel cover. Great place to do water activities. And of course at this San Miguel de Abona Beach you can sun bathe and also swim because this place is a great place to unwind after a week of activities. The locations that are affordable and free for all visitors.

Playa san miguel de abon is an amazing beach. You can enjoy in your peace,because there isn't so much crowd. The water wasn't too cold and it was very clean. Everyone should visit this paradise in Tenerife. Highly recommended to all!

Bar Marcos is a great spot to check out. lovely and the food is delicious. The staff are welcoming and it's a great idea to brush up on your Spanish before going as it will be appreciated. Definitely worth a visit!

Playa La Jaca may be small, but it is far from impressive. Spending half a day here is not something I'd recommend. The few fishermen and people hanging around only added to the dullness of the atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to do yoga, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

We took a snorkeling tour at playa de Abades. The reefs are very fun to snorkel and the beach is very quiet and nice. Cute shops and restaurants are right there by the beach and it felt a bit like Greece with the small white buildings. Locals told us to watch out for pickpocketers as it’s apparently an issue. However, we didn’t have any problems with our belongings getting stolen. Make sure to take the trek up to see the Ghost town. I wish we would have went on foot from the beach. We tried to drive to it but those roads are more for ATVs or bikes and not for regular cars. Definitely worth the trip though!

Beautiful beach, great for surfing, kite surfing, foil surfing and other water sports. There is a wooden promenade in the shopping area and a few small shops and coffee bars. Plenty of parking, including space for camper vans near the beach.

There are free toilets in the town square/ centre. Not far from. The airport (about 15 mins, €18 in a taxi due to the additional airport taxi charges)

That place is a paradise for sport fanatics, surfers and kite-flyers alike. Its beautiful natural landscape and high waves make it perfect for any kind of water sport. What's more, it's easy to access with free parking along the road nearby, and there's a lovely walk through the town with many nice cafes at the front.

Playa el medano II is far from amazing. The views are mediocre and the black sand is not as sparkly as it seems. The waves are nothing special either. The food is okay, but there's not much variety. clean, but it's nothing special. Not a gem.

Spectacular views on a couple of landmarks and also the airport. Parking is ok but be aware that it is a rough dirt strip. Still a good walk until the shoreline. The beach is always pretty frequented but ample space to find a free spot. There’s a life guard station and the sand is soft going into the water.
