Playa La Pelada is nice, but it can be quite windy at times and it can be difficult to find shade. There is a brown sand and the coastal line has some large, dangerous rocks that can appear out of the sand, so be careful if you venture away from the main beach. I've had a few (fortunately minor) injuries from them.

This location is an ideal destination for surfers, kite surfers, foil surfers and other water sports enthusiasts. The wooden promenade in the shopping area is perfect for a stroll and there are small shops and coffee bars to explore. Parking is plentiful, with space for camper vans close to the beach. The beach itself is a long stretch with some parts sandy and some parts rocky, making it a great spot to visit. Plus, there are free toilets in the town square just a short distance away. Getting to the airport is convenient too, as it's only 15 minutes away, and a taxi ride is €18 due to the airport taxi charges.

We took a snorkeling tour at playa de Abades. The reefs are very fun to snorkel and the beach is very quiet and nice. Cute shops and restaurants are right there by the beach and it felt a bit like Greece with the small white buildings. Locals told us to watch out for pickpocketers as it’s apparently an issue. However, we didn’t have any problems with our belongings getting stolen. Make sure to take the trek up to see the Ghost town. I wish we would have went on foot from the beach. We tried to drive to it but those roads are more for ATVs or bikes and not for regular cars. Definitely worth the trip though!

San Miguel de Abona Beach is a small beach, located in Tenerife. I want to highlight its cleanliness, the lack of people using it regularly, its easy access from the town, which can be reached by taking a pleasant walk and makes unnecessary to take any vehicle.
A very quiet place, despite the large number of tourists throughout the year on the island, in which I can affirm with total conviction that we are in a privileged natural environment, where we will enjoy great tranquility and calm.
Highly recommended visit and bath in its clean and clear waters.

This beach near Las Maretas is an absolute delight! The water is crystal clear, and the sand is a beautiful brown color. There are showers and benches to relax on, and rocks for climbing and playing. It's a great spot to observe the local fishermen, and it's a totally unexpected and enjoyable experience!
