I recently visited Cala Rostella at the end of March. It was a peaceful and serene atmosphere, with no one else around. If you park at the spot indicated by Google Maps, make sure to turn right when you get down the hill and you'll be at Cala Rostella in just a few minutes - less than 100m away. Unfortunately, I made a wrong turn and ended up at Calis Beach, which was a 20-minute hike away. Best of all, entry to the beach is free to the public.

What a stunning Cala! It's a picturesque and petite beach with remarkable water and amenities. There's a tiny chiringuito with food and drinks and even showers close by. It's a fantastic spot for snorkeling and paddle boarding and it's easily accessible. You just need to look for parking in the vicinity and there's a steep downhill walk of around 4-5 minutes. Absolutely worth the effort! Highly recommended! GORGEOUS!

This location is a great spot for snorkeling, sunbathing, and swimming, and it even has a great bar. Unfortunately, it has recently been plagued with plastic and other waste in the water. Still, it has some great features, such as its gray fine pebbles.

Hotel Cala Joncols is a truly remarkable and secluded spot in Catalunya. If you're searching for a unique and tranquil escape, this is the perfect place. The location, accommodation, cuisine and service all surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend getting the full pension, as the food is delicious and it's great value for money (especially since the nearest restaurant is a 20-minute walk away). To get there, don't follow the GPS (especially if you're coming from Cadaques); follow the hotel's instructions and drive through Roses. The journey takes 30 minutes and takes you through some stunning scenery, and the beach has gray sand with pebbles. The effort is certainly worth it for the great hospitality and stunning views!

The service rooms and showers are free, but the parking is relatively inexpensive and there are plenty of spots. It's a great place to stay for a while, but it's not particularly budget-friendly for families. As for water sports, there's kitesurfing, jet-skiing and more, but it's not the best spot for it.
