One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. White sand and clear but cold water. Not crowded at all
This Galician beach is one of the biggest around, so you won't struggle to find a spot to yourself. But if you're looking for a warm day, you're better off avoiding it: the Atlantic waters are ice-cold. The sand is a pale yellow, but don't expect to go rock-pooling - it's all sand. Parking is free for cars, but caravans might be a bit tricky.
