The beach in San Vicente do Mar is situated in a rural environment and faces north. It has fine golden sand and is surrounded by a forest. On the western side of the beach, there is a group of islets called As Colloadas.
This beach, known as Arenal, is open to the sea and stretches for approximately 325 meters. It is a windy beach with moderate waves.
Within the beach, there is an archaeological site called Adro Vello, which is a Roman necropolis. The Roman settlement dates back to the 3rd and 4th centuries AD. The Villas were strategically located on the shores of the Sea for maritime traffic, and the walls, canals, roads, and various shells have been preserved.
