The beaches of Cangas are one of my favorites; not because they are particularly remarkable, but because there are no loud and annoying tourists everywhere. Even on hot August days, you can still enjoy a swim in the chilly Atlantic Ocean!

That place is a bit of a letdown. The cove is quite tranquil, but there's not much else to it. You can bring your dogs, but there's no other activity. The old entrance for whales is nearby, but it's protected from the currents, making it nothing more than a big salty pool. You can jump off the whaling pier, but there are no stairs to get back up. Lastly, there's a freshwater lagoon connected to the beach, but it's nothing special.
