Beautiful urban beach of about 600 meters, with very fine sand facing south and very protected from waves, which makes it very suitable for children. Ample parking and nearby green area with shade. In summer you can rent all kinds of beach gadgets, including a giant inflatable attraction. Beach bars and restaurants attached. Kiosks are also set up to sell crafts. Due to covid measures, they do not set up showers. Let's hope they do it this year. It has a wonderful yacht club.
Ideal beach for families with children and groups of friends especially. Beach almost always with a green flag and almost always without waves. With a blue flag, certificate for the disabled and with an area of the largest Inchable Water Park in Spain, sailing, diving, paddle surfing, canoes and much more.
Go to Sanjenjo and pay more for everything? Portonovo has the same and much more affordable for all budgets. Oh, I forgot, on the beach promenade you will find many sales booths to buy whatever you want.

For those of us who consider our dogs part of the family, these details are so important. I can't speak highly enough of the cleanliness, politeness and fun you get from this little Galician spot - it's simply unbeatable! 10/10 💙
