Don’t let him rip you off, there’s plenty of space under the trees if you want to be in the shade or you can buy an umbrella right across the street in one of the markets for 10 euros, that’s a much better price especially if you’re staying for a whole week
A beautiful beach with clean white sand, clear water, shallow enough for children but you can walk out to deeper water. A chaise, umbrella and safe for €14. There are showers, volleyball courts and a McDonald's for cheap snacks. I recommend.

I have nothing but praise for this beach! It's close to all the hotels, and the restaurants in the area are excellent - Blackbeard's Beach Bar & Grill being the best of the bunch. The water is crystal clear, the sand is golden and fine, and there's barely any algae or stones or shells to be found on the beach or in the water. The only downsides are the lack of toilets, the crowds, and the costly sun loungers (13,5€ for a pair). But overall, it's an amazing beach!
