A very secluded, beautiful beach with fine sand. It was completely deserted. We were the only guests all day. There's a small restaurant and massage services. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. It was a wonderful day.

We were here at the beginning of February 2026. The beach is no longer deserted! Many people are coming by scooter, despite the somewhat adventurous route. Signs even before you arrive inform you that you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. There is now a restaurant and a few huts on site. You can even rent two tents. There is a lot of construction going on. Sun loungers can be rented for 50 THB. Drink prices are significantly higher than elsewhere on the island! Using the toilets costs 20 THB. The beach is very narrow at high tide, and there are limited places to lie down. Whether you find all of this appealing is a matter of personal taste.

基本上，前往岛屿的唯一选择是通过度假村安排的长途船运输，单程 2,100 泰铢。就个人而言，我更愿意多花一点钱预订并将船只运输包含在内，而不是预订一个不算便宜的酒店，然后意识到我需要额外保留 4,200 泰铢用于转运。
餐厅里的食物非常美味，但相较于泰国的平均水平略贵一些。另一方面，所有食材都来自当地和有机，所以这也是可以理解的。
户外浴室很棒，唯一的缺点是淋浴的高度——大约170厘米，没有调节，因此使用时有点不舒服。

This bay is the best on the island, the water is cleaner than Buffalo Bay. We have stayed in both places and I can compare. And the sunsets stay in the heart forever!
The main beach of Koh Phayam. Due to the waves, there are quite a few surfers there. In the evening, it's a great place to watch the sunset with a cold beer. There are quite a few resorts and beach bars there. But overall, it's still a quiet and relaxed place. Everyone can find a suitable spot here...

Stayed here just before pandemic. I stayed three nights and wish I could've extended. Having visited the kingdom of Thailand multiple times prior, I was skeptical about doing. This changed just being in a relaxing lodging and location.
Very charming resort on Long Beach, by far the nicest place on this part of the island. Social and relaxing restaurant on the beach with many seating options, sweet people, good food and drinks, cute cats, nice huts directly on the beach, very nice place!

Prapat Beach is one of the last beaches along the border of Ranong Province before entering Phang Nga Province. It's a clean, quiet, and peaceful beach with few tourists. There are accommodations provided by the national park nearby.
It looked deserted, I was thinking of pitching a tent and sleeping there, but I changed my mind. I didn't want to call Jack and tell him about it.

General Information
Ao Khuey Beach is located within Laem Son National Park, at the southernmost point of the national park in Khura Subdistrict, Khura Buri District, Phang Nga Province. It is approximately 6 kilometers from the Phet Kasem Road intersection. The area boasts lush rainforests rich in diverse plant and animal life, as well as a remarkably well-preserved mangrove forest, making it ideal for hiking and camping. It is also the location of the Laem Son National Park Ranger Station No. HS.2 (Khao Pak Tiam). Ao Khuey Beach features abundant rainforests with diverse plant and animal species, and a remarkably well-preserved mangrove forest, making it perfect for hiking.

This tranquil beach on Koh Chang, Ranong, is located within the Ranong National Marine Park. Access is by hiking or boat, with a 2km nature trail that winds along the coast to other beaches on the island. The beach has a gentle slope, and the sand is dark, almost black. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and private. While there are some tourist amenities on the beach, they are in poor condition and lack proper maintenance. Better care is needed.

The seaside on a quiet weekday... 🌊 The evening atmosphere with a light drizzle, the scent of damp earth mixed with the sea breeze, creates an indescribable sense of peace. No bright sunlight, no crowds; just the sound of the waves and the gentle rain is enough for today.
It seems like not many tourists visit here, as it's incredibly quiet. There's a lot of trash on the beach, probably washed ashore, but the overall atmosphere is okay. It's not far from the main road, and there were a lot of monitor lizards along the way (I was a little scared 🥴). I recommend visiting in the morning or during the daytime.

We tried to cancel our booking only 5 hours after making it (due to not being able to come because of the earthquake!) and we received no reply whatsoever. They just took our entire payment and wouldn’t respond to any messages. I would understand keeping the first nights fee, but they kept our payment for the entire stay! Or at least some communication with us would’ve been more professional.

We were here at the beginning of February 2026. The beach is no longer deserted! Many people are coming by scooter, despite the somewhat adventurous route. Signs even before you arrive inform you that you are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. There is now a restaurant and a few huts on site. You can even rent two tents. There is a lot of construction going on. Sun loungers can be rented for 50 THB. Drink prices are significantly higher than elsewhere on the island! Using the toilets costs 20 THB. The beach is very narrow at high tide, and there are limited places to lie down. Whether you find all of this appealing is a matter of personal taste.

Came here for lunch under the sea star tour. Very nice national park. Water is very clean. It’s a pity the weather wasn’t on my side.

General Information
Ao Khuey Beach is located within Laem Son National Park, at the southernmost point of the national park in Khura Subdistrict, Khura Buri District, Phang Nga Province. It is approximately 6 kilometers from the Phet Kasem Road intersection. The area boasts lush rainforests rich in diverse plant and animal life, as well as a remarkably well-preserved mangrove forest, making it ideal for hiking and camping.
