Plaža je osupljiva destinacija, ki jo je vredno obiskati pred prihodom na Koh Lipe s hitrim čolnom. Posadka nas je zabavno obvestila, da otok prečka le dva čolna na dan in če ju zamudimo, bomo obtičali s opicami. Na srečo smo imeli jasno nebo in nedotaknjene vode. Vendar je žalostno, da na plaži ostaja nekaj smeti. Pomembno je biti pozoren pri odstranjevanju odpadkov in ohranjanju čistega okolja za najboljšo možno izkušnjo.

From delicate turquoise to intense blue – the water changes depending on the light, and you could gaze at it for hours. 😍 🌴 The boats are a typical island sight and lend the beach a very special charm. Together with the tropical landscape, they create a unique atmosphere. What we especially love are these simple moments: walking barefoot along the beach, enjoying the warm air, and forgetting everything else for a moment. ❤️ Here you can feel that wonderful island vibe that we love so much about Thailand. Of course, the beach is lively in places due to the many boats and visitors. If you're looking for absolute solitude, be aware of this. But here you'll experience the typical Koh Lipe lifestyle. Our tip: Take some time for a stroll along the beach and enjoy the changing light. A beautiful place with true tropical charm! A well-deserved 5 stars! 🇹🇭🌴✨

This beach is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The sunrise here is absolutely stunning, the beach is usually empty, and the sea is lovely. The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices and the staff are friendly. There are some monkeys around, but they mostly keep to themselves unless they see food. The toilet and shower facilities are great. The cost to rent camping gear for 2 people per night is around 570 baht.

Make sure to visit this beach! We started with the viewpoint walk, which had three beautiful viewpoints on Koh Lipe. The trail is quite steep, so make sure to wear good shoes and bring plenty of water. We saw many lizards and even some monkeys along the way. After the viewpoint hike, we went on a jungle trail to the waterfall. It took us about an hour to reach the waterfall and 45 minutes to get back to the ranger station. We spotted a Toucan on the way. The water at the waterfall was knee-deep and very refreshing. The taxi boat ride cost 100 baht per person one way.

If you're thinking of coming to Koh Lipe to "rest and relax" – forget about it right now. Don't waste your time and money. This isn't an island, it's a 24/7 noise factory. Non-stop engines, motorcycles, scooters, taxis, and boats screaming along the beaches like they're competing to see who can make the most noise. It never stops – not at 2 AM and not at 11 AM. Getting here is pure torture: 6 hours on a speedboat that breaks your back, costs as much as a business class flight, and leaves you feeling like cargo. Then you arrive at your hotel/hostel: You pay the price of a 5-star resort on other islands, but get a room without air conditioning in 40°C heat. If there is AC – you pay double, and even then it works like a broken fan from 1998. I arrived, slept one night, and ran away. Extremely disappointed. Nothing here justifies all the crazy hype. Do yourselves a huge favor: Skip Koh Lipe completely. There are plenty of much more beautiful, cheaper, quieter, and actually relaxing islands that give you real value for your money. Koh Lipe isn't "paradise" – it's a loud, overpriced tourist trap. Thanks, but no thanks.
