Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and great service. I would recommend to anyone and if you get it for a good price it can be great value.
The service was first class, from the welcome, to the breakfast, to the towel service, to the checkout, everything was handled with care. I applaud all the staff members for making our stay special.
One thing to note: they do not allow hijab friendly swimsuits in the pool, but allow them on the beach. I found this quite disappointing and was the only real negative part of our stay. This exclusionary policy is the only reason I would hesitate to rebook this hotel, and I hope management would reconsider this decision.
While La Badira impresses with its appealing and aesthetically pleasing interior, unfortunately, that's where the positives end. For a hotel that advertises itself as 5-star and commands premium pricing, the service and overall experience fall drastically short of that standard.
Most of the staff, instead of providing the warm and attentive service expected at this level, were often rude and dismissive. On multiple occasions, we were made to feel unwelcome, with staff questioning our status as guests, repeatedly asking for verification even well into our stay. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere, completely at odds with the luxury experience we had hoped for.
To make matters worse, when the hotel made an error, rather than addressing it, we were ignored and passively stalled until our departure. This lack of accountability and professionalism is simply unacceptable for a hotel that carries a 5-star label.
Our overall impression is that while La Badira may have the look of a 5-star establishment, the service and internal organization are far from it. We left disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to those expecting a true luxury experience.
