I stayed here for 6 days at the end of the season in September. We ate at all the restaurants that were open, visited both the pools as well as ocean, and had many interactions with staff. The concierge/staff: Very nice and very friendly, they are more than happy to help you out with anything as well as provide excellent service. Yes there is a language barrier if you only speak English (I only speak English myself) but there is google translate if you need it. I don’t know why everybody complains about the barrier, if you work with them you can handle all your needs. Not all countries have English as a strong second language. Restaurants: Food and drinks are going to cost you some money, every Kempinski costs a bit more than most other hotels. So you should always look at prices before you visit. But all the food was very worth it. Maybe only a few items that were over priced but tbh I could spot them very easily. Very friendly and super nice as well. Food was all excellent, sometimes it takes a little longer sometimes it is very fast, either way I have no complaints. Same thing as with staff, just be patient and communicate with them as best as possible and you can get everything you need with no issues. Make sure to make your reservations at the restaurants ahead of time to ensure the proper dining experience. During season I’m sure it gets busy but at end of season there is less staff so you have to remember they can only handle so much volume per table. So plan accordingly. VEAL CHOPS at Mammadrou are absolutely amazing and you should not leave without trying them!!! Management: All my interactions with them as I came across them I say the same, very nice and very friendly. Happy to have you there and answer any questions you have if necessary Pools/Beach: Very calming and quiet, if you need to get to the beach, other pool, or Barbarossa restaurant which is on the beach, you can take a Buggy from the hotel entrance. It takes very little time to get there and it is very efficient. Never waiting for more than a minute or two. O

Not a price performance hotel: This is my fourth stay at this hotel. This time, the hotel has separated from the Crystal hotel chain. The price is the same, or even higher (Family room ~$450/day 2024). The number of staff has been reduced, and the meals are nothing like before. There is no meat dish (which is bad), no variety, no nuts, no taste. Every day, there are just plain meatballs, grilled fish, and grilled chicken. Previously, there were various and interesting dishes. Smoothies with watermelon, melon, etc., used to be made. Packaged ice creams used to be available. All of that is gone. Beach maintenance and sunbed cleaning are poor. The women serving waffles and ice cream act like they own the hotel. Activities at the pier and bar area, and children's animations have ended. In the evening, there is a classic children's dance hour (if you paid to have a T-shirt printed, they do a half-hour ceremony). And worst of all, to cover up all this, they start blasting music from morning till night, brainwashing everyone. There was never such nonsense before. In a pool that’s barely a meter deep, three old ladies are swishing pasta around, making it feel like a festival. They’ve ruined the natural ambiance. There are no Europeans left. Most of the guests are immigrant workers and a few from the eastern bloc. In summary, they’ve turned it into one of those beach places with noisy, characterless, and inconsistent music.

I really liked this beach! Today is a bit windy but it is a nice breeze in this hot summer day! Beach is pebble not thin sand. But in second row pebble is very thin so it looks like thick sand and kids can play. There are free umbrellas, changing cabin and shower. There is a very nice restaurant near it to eat too. I would be more happier if they repair some changing cabins a bit but in total it is a very nice place to relax!

I booked this hotel in advance and requested an accessible room due to a medical condition that affects mobility. I was given an accessible room at first, but the bathroom was full of bugs. After reporting it, I was moved — but the second room had the same issue. Despite being in pain, I had to go to reception myself to show them. The female staff member agreed, but moved me to a room on the third floor, which meant climbing several sets of stairs just to reach the lift. I explained again that I couldn’t manage stairs, but she insisted it was the only room available, I later found out this wasn’t true as a staff member told me there were plenty of other accessible rooms. My leg cramps worsened, and I went back to reception with my medical documents. A male staff member was now on shift — he was kind and understanding, and quickly moved me to a proper accessible room without hesitation. Ps- the lady worker told me to come back tomorrow and see what she can do- no surprise she was not on shift the following day. - apart from that hotel was good.

I had an excellent stay at the resort. The price was very reasonable for the quality of service provided. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. What stood out the most was the cleanliness of the beach—it was spotless and very well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend this resort and would definitely come back again.

Not a price performance hotel: This is my fourth stay at this hotel. This time, the hotel has separated from the Crystal hotel chain. The price is the same, or even higher (Family room ~$450/day 2024). The number of staff has been reduced, and the meals are nothing like before. There is no meat dish (which is bad), no variety, no nuts, no taste. Every day, there are just plain meatballs, grilled fish, and grilled chicken. Previously, there were various and interesting dishes. Smoothies with watermelon, melon, etc., used to be made. Packaged ice creams used to be available. All of that is gone. Beach maintenance and sunbed cleaning are poor. The women serving waffles and ice cream act like they own the hotel. Activities at the pier and bar area, and children's animations have ended. In the evening, there is a classic children's dance hour (if you paid to have a T-shirt printed, they do a half-hour ceremony). And worst of all, to cover up all this, they start blasting music from morning till night, brainwashing everyone. There was never such nonsense before. Most of the guests are immigrant workers and a few from the eastern bloc. In summary, they’ve turned it into one of those beach places with noisy, characterless, and inconsistent music.

Am avut o perioadă fantastică în timpul șederii noastre de 8 zile la începutul lunii septembrie 2023.
