Lovely clean and comfortable rooms, really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet in the main restaurant. Very friendly staff. The most beautiful sunset. Lovely kids pool. Enjoyed the cafe/bar with shisha- very good! First impressions were not great, we didn't know that tax wasn't included in our price. They then told us there was construction, we went to the pool and the view to the beach was completely blocked off which was disappointing. We finally found access to the beach via the Zanzibar restaurant which was amazing and then we were really able to enjoy our time. I booked via the hotel's website, they didn't provide any follow up or confirmation email so it wasn't clear if the booking had gone through, I had to call to confirm. I also called to ask about arranging a birthday cake/balloons but it was never followed up and it seems they didn't take note of it.
