A farmers market is still held here regularly along with many over events in the square. A short stroll away is the really rather wonderful Peterborough Cathedral which we shall explore inside. We can then get the train a short distance to either the beautiful Georgian Town of Stamford or the county town of Rutland, Oakham or both of them for a full day out.
