I had a great time walking along the beach, I've never seen so many beach huts packed together in one place before! It was so nice to stroll along the beach with no cars allowed on either side. I took the ferry to Mudeford Quay for just £4 return, a quick 10-minute ride where I bought some cockles for £5 a pot and some delicious swordfish steaks for a BBQ later that evening. It was a good day out, but it can get quite busy on weekends.
This beach is a hidden gem that most out-of-town tourists don't know about. We were lucky to have a local friend show us this beautiful and scenic spot.
