This beach is simply stunning, especially when the sun is out. I visited at the end of June mid-week and the car park was spacious. It cost £5 for the day and had two clean toilets. Unfortunately, there was no option to pay for a short stay, but it was worth the fee even for a short visit as it's owned by the National Trust. There is a steep path leading down to the beach, with a cafe and more toilets on the way. The beach was sandy and the sea was very calm and clear. There were a few people sunbathing, as it's a sheltered bay and perfect for catching some rays. Make sure to bring everything you need from the car, as the walk back up the steep path can be tiring. It was a tranquil spot, and you could easily mistake it for being overseas with its beautiful scenery and crystal clear blue waters.
我们在90年代初带着孩子们来过这个海滩,上周我们带着36岁的大女儿和她的两个孩子回来了。他们都玩得很开心!唯一的区别是现在山下有厕所,这是一个很好的补充,海滩上的商店也扩大了菜单。
