The Rogue River thrill seeker is the trip for the group who can’t decide on the experience they want so they choose to do it all. In the morning paddle yourself in an inflatable kayak through the pristine pools in the bottom of Hellgate Canyon. Take on some adventure and paddle yourself through the class II rapids of the Rogue River in your own inflatable kayak! Our guides will teach you the skills and show you the lines, but paddling through will be all you, and you can certainly do it! Mid-day the group will enjoy lunch on our patio between games of ladder golf. After you have had your fill we load in the van for a short drive to the put-in for the Nugget Falls section of the Rogue River. This section of the river has much bigger whitewater so we load into a paddle raft where you paddle as part of a team through the frothing torrents. The afternoon section builds in difficulty, culminating in the famous Tilomikh falls, a combination of two drops plummeting over 10 feet in total.

Immerse yourself in waterfall hiking in one of the most unique geologic formations in Oregon! Over the course of the three hours we are in the canyon, we will discovering South Falls' stunning amphitheater and history as the centerpiece of a failed attempt to become Oregon's first National Park. From here we will descend into the up-and-down trails that make up the gorgeous canyon, encountering century-plus-old trees, wildflowers in season, mosses, lichens, and mushrooms and a variety of fantastic rock formations. We will experience up-close encounters with some of the state's most unusual and impressive waterfall formations. On this hiking experience we will explore 4-6 waterfalls and enjoy snacks with the option to purchase a light breakfast or lunch from the cafe. Our hike will be between three and eight miles (5 - 13 km) depending on group energy and desire.

Note: Sunrise is too early in the summer to ride during the tram’s open hours! We will be riding after sunrise April - August. The early tour guest gets the spectacular views. We’ll meet you on the edge of downtown Portland, where you will have a chance to pick up coffee (or tea). We will head over to OHSU, where we will walk with you to the Aerial Tram. We’ll ride up this feat of Swiss engineering up to the top as the early sun reveals the city’s glowing colors. Once there, depending on sunrise timing and weather, we'll watch the sun crest the horizon, or check out city views in the early morning light. After we ride back to the bottom, we'll tell you the story of the bridge and its quixotic lights, and orient you to the city whose east-west divider lies before us. The Rogue River thrill seeker is the trip for the group who can’t decide on the experience they want so they choose to do it all. In the morning paddle yourself in an inflatable kayak through the pristine pools in the bottom of Hellgate Canyon. Take on some adventure and paddle yourself through the class II rapids of the Rogue River in your own inflatable kayak! Our guides will teach you the skills and show you the lines, but paddling through will be all you, and you can certainly do it! Mid-day the group will enjoy lunch on our patio between games of ladder golf. After you have had your fill we load in the van for a short drive to the put-in for the Nugget Falls section of the Rogue River. This section of the river has much bigger whitewater so we load into a paddle raft where you paddle as part of a team through the frothing torrents. The afternoon section builds in difficulty, culminating in the famous Tilomikh falls, a combination of two drops plummeting over 10 feet in total.

The forbidding walls of Hellgate Canyon rise out of the water at the rivers edge marking a dramatic point of transition into the whitewater downstream. This trip flows through two distinct gorges and concludes with two of the best class II rapids on the day section of the Rogue River. The Rogue River thrill seeker is the trip for the group who can’t decide on the experience they want so they choose to do it all. In the morning paddle yourself in an inflatable kayak through the pristine pools in the bottom of Hellgate Canyon. Take on some adventure and paddle yourself through the class II rapids of the Rogue River in your own inflatable kayak! Our guides will teach you the skills and show you the lines, but paddling through will be all you, and you can certainly do it! Mid-day the group will enjoy lunch on our patio between games of ladder golf. After you have had your fill we load in the van for a short drive to the put-in for the Nugget Falls section of the Rogue River. This section of the river has much bigger whitewater so we load into a paddle raft where you paddle as part of a team through the frothing torrents. The afternoon section builds in difficulty, culminating in the famous Tilomikh falls, a combination of two drops plummeting over 10 feet in total.

The half-day trip on the Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon is our most scenic half-day trip. The forbidding walls of Hellgate Canyon rise out of the water at the rivers edge marking a dramatic point of transition into the whitewater downstream. As we float through the canyon osprey and eagles fly over head as the search the river for fish. This trip flows through two distinct gorges and concludes with two of the best class II rapids on the day section of the Rogue River. This is a great trip anyone wanting to learn to inflatable kayak or any family with younger kids wanting to raft.

This 5.5 mile stretch of river has more to offer in whitewater excitement and adventure than any other section of the entire Rogue River, and nobody knows it better or provides more fun and safety than Noah’s guides and crew. This trip departs Ashland twice a day, seven days a week, when four or more river enthusiasts are ready to go. We depart at 9am and 1:30pm. Trips return at 12:30 and 5pm.

We will be on the Wild & Scenic Rogue River, near the town of Grants Pass, Oregon. This river section is known as the Hellgate Canyon Section, and is brimming with spectacular views, fun water, and wildlife sightings. Your guide will train you on basic paddling and river language before you hit a variety of water along the river, including calm pools, small riffles, and class I-II whitewater rapids. There are ample opportunities to swim, enjoy the scenery, and have fun in splashy whitewater. The river section length is about 10.5 river miles.

Immerse yourself in waterfall hiking in one of the most unique geologic formations in Oregon! Over the course of the three hours we are in the canyon, we will discovering South Falls' stunning amphitheater and history as the centerpiece of a failed attempt to become Oregon's first National Park. From here we will descend into the up-and-down trails that make up the gorgeous canyon, encountering century-plus-old trees, wildflowers in season, mosses, lichens, and mushrooms and a variety of fantastic rock formations. We will experience up-close encounters with some of the state's most unusual and impressive waterfall formations. On this hiking experience we will explore 4-6 waterfalls and enjoy snacks with the option to purchase a light breakfast or lunch from the cafe. Our hike will be between three and eight miles (5 - 13 km) depending on group energy and desire.

Note: Sunrise is too early in the summer to ride during the tram’s open hours! We will be riding after sunrise April - August. The early tour guest gets the spectacular views. From here we will descend into the up-and-down trails that make up the gorgeous canyon, encountering century-plus-old trees, wildflowers in season, mosses, lichens, and mushrooms and a variety of fantastic rock formations. We’ll meet you on the edge of downtown Portland, where you will have a chance to pick up coffee (or tea). We will head over to OHSU, where we will walk with you to the Aerial Tram. We’ll ride up this feat of Swiss engineering up to the top as the early sun reveals the city’s glowing colors. Once there, depending on sunrise timing and weather, we'll watch the sun crest the horizon, or check out city views in the early morning light. After we ride back to the bottom, we'll tell you the story of the bridge and its quixotic lights, and orient you to the city whose east-west divider lies before us. The Aerial Tram was built in 2006 to connect the main campus of Oregon Health Sciences University with the new neighborhood of the South Waterfront. We will be joining students and medical staff on their daily tram ride!

Our half day self guided E-bike tour provides you with a 3.5 hour rental to enjoy the scenic waterfall corridor including Multnomah Falls. This is our most popular option because it allows you to experience the highlights of the route at a nice pace. You will have time to see 5 waterfalls and do several short hikes.
