Shades Beach has always been a favorite of mine. I've attended many picnics and parties there, and the grounds are consistently clean. The staff is very easy to work with when renting a pavilion. If you're planning any type of party, make sure to check this place out. I wish I had taken more pictures of the picnic area, but today was just a drive-through to check out the lake.

我们去的那天非常安静，其他人都不在。看起来有两个迷你沙滩，两个有顶棚的凉亭，洗手间（在六月初锁着，不知道为什么），还有很多岩石和流入湖泊的小溪。你需要沿着长长的土路开车，但确实能到达湖边，哈哈。喜欢这里的宁静、风景，当然还有水！这个公园对狗友好，非常适合小型家庭聚会。虽然步行的地方不多，但非常适合远离人群的野餐。停车场方便轮椅使用。期待再次光临😊

A nice little hidden gem. Great view of the lake and shoreline. I come here in the wintertime to see the ice dunes. Make sure you bring a warm jacket, gloves and a hat if you decide to go in the winter. There is a steady wind that comes off of the lake that will chill you to the bone if you aren't dressed properly. You can stay in your car and still have a great view if the cold is not your thing.
