We also provide taxis at the Mauritius Cruise Terminal in Port Louis. Cruise ships arrive in Mauritius between October and March each year. We usually operate 24/7, but late-night transfers can also be prearranged upon request. For departure (hotel pick-up), we recommend that your preferred pick-up time be at least 3 hours before your flight time due to the traffic conditions in Mauritius. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain. Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem. Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

Le Morne Brabant Mountain, situated as part of the Le Morne peninsula at the extreme southwestern tip of Mauritius is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mauritius and a UNESCO World Heritage Site Since its inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2008, Le Morne Brabant was closed to the public but after much deliberation, it was officially reopened to the public in 2016. The majestic Morne Brabant mountain has been welcoming thousands of local and foreign visitors ever since. According to the Director of the World Heritage Centre, Dr Mechtild Rössler, "this opening represents a major achievement towards increasing the enhancement and conservation of the site."

This experience invites guests to share a moment of Mauritian family life in a peaceful rural sugarcane village in the north of the island, near an old historic sugar mill. The workshop takes place in our traditional outdoor family kitchen beside a small farm, surrounded by nature and the rhythms of village life. Together we prepare a full Mauritian meal using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, sometimes cooking over a wood fire as many families still do. Guests participate in the cooking before we sit down to enjoy the dishes in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Sometimes members of my family are present, adding to the warm and authentic spirit of sharing food, stories, and traditions around the table.
