The Lelepa Region communities have only recently developed this fascinating guided, full-day tour to Artok or Hat Island, the revered mass burial site of Chief Roi Mata and the fifty or more individuals who accompanied him to the afterlife. The serene snorkelling tour lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours and begins right at the front of Back To Eden. The guide will lead you to the most beautiful sea anemone known as Nemo City, the home of dozens of beautiful clown fish. You will also be lead to a sea bed containing the most iridescent giant clams, as well as stunning coral and schools of tropical fish, if your lucky spot a turtle or two (sometimes there have been up-to 5 turtles on these tours!) All of this begins right at the front of Back to Eden Restaurant, with all snorkel gear provided for the tour.

We offer our guests an exciting day visiting beautiful locations around Port Vila. You will learn the history of our little paradise and experience the beauty of Vanuatu. Guests will be picked-up by mini bus from 8.00am then over the jungle clad hills to beautiful Havanah Harbour. The area we cruise is in the rain shadow side of the island so we have more fine days than most other areas. We board the boat by way of a small tender and the guide presents a short safety talk. Tea & Tanna coffee is served with tasty sweet buns. Our first stop at Tranquillity Island Resort, then we proceed to our first snorkeling spot, Guests that do not want to do snorkeling can find a shady spot on the beach to relax on the beach & swim. Kayaking and bush walk is also an option. Lunch - tasty local steak with salads & french bread. Cold drinks are available from the bar at reasonable prices. After lunch we have bush walk then a 2nd snorkelling trip is organized. Around 4.00.pm we head back to the boat for afternoon tea & a fruit platter. We are back to the mainland & guests join the bus to return to Vila by 5.00 - 5:30pm.

Experience Efate's outer islands with a stunning half day trek on Nguna and an afternoon swim at Pele. At Nguna, you have a choice which walk you do (you must choose your walk before you depart). The Volcano Walk takes you atop one of Nguna’s extinct volcanoes, Mt Marou (472m), where you will be rewarded with sweeping views across the Shepherd Islands to the north, and south to Efate. Parts of the walk are steep and it takes 3 ½ hours on average. Or just take an easier Village Walk, adapted to your fitness level, to explore either upland or coastal villages. After the morning walk, enjoy a buffet lunch by the beach on neighbouring Pele Island and then swim and snorkel the lagoon or reef.
