Νήσος Ταβεούνι: 3 παραλίες στην περιοχή

(Early January 2025) Spent the week over new years at this property and it was fantastic. Our luggage didn't make it until day 3 and the staff was more than accommodating. They grabbed some quick bare essentials while we relaxed on our first day. The next day we went into town to get a few more items to hold us over. (It was a great "don't worry about it we've got you taken care of experience") Breakfast and lunch were ordered from a standard menu and were served with a full table spread (flowers, decorations, table cloth, cloth napkins) that were rotated and I don't believe were ever repeated the entire week we were there. Dinner was a 5 course meal curated by the chef but was fully customizable to your preference. Each of these meals could be eaten at various "dining spots" on the property but we mostly stuck to the dining area just outside the living room. It had a great view, easy for the staff, enough space, and an overhead fan to keep the heat (and sometimes bugs) at bay. Excursions we're great! Apart from the ability to kayak, SUP, and snorkel right from the property it was fantastic to hike and walk the various waterfalls, blowhole, villages and other sides of the island. Bouna Falls were gorgeous but hiking to the 2nd and 3rd falls is medium to hard difficulty (also prepare to have wet shoes). Lavena Coastal walk is about a 5k one way and at times is medium difficulty (also likely to have wet shoes). Also most of the island doesn't have paved roads and can be very rugged. The drivers are fantastic but you can't avoid all bumps. Definitely get the "Go Fijian for a Day" ... It is a fantastic peak into the Fijian culture and a wonderful experience. The house is two levels with two rooms (air conditioned) and a loft (air conditioned but open and gets pretty warm). The loft has a TV with streaming capabilities but no "channels". Lastly the arrival and farewell done by the staff truly made this a fantastic and personalized experience.

This was hands down our most favorite place in the world. We traveled for a get away from a busy sports filled life and this was it. The grounds were superb, the staff warm and loving and the view and the food superb. Our kids all cried headed to the airport as they loved their magical stay here. Will work hard to come back soon ❤️

Η παραλία είναι πολύ κοντά και η ύπαρξη της δικής μας ιδιωτικής αμμουδιάς ήταν αναντικατάστατη. Το προσωπικό είναι εξαιρετικά φιλικό και δεν θα μπορούσα να ζητήσω καλύτερη υποδοχή. The staff and location of the beach were fantastic. However, the accommodation was not up to par. We were given the tiniest bure, which felt very cramped. The owner, who is currently selling the property, did not handle customer service well when she arranged for a drone video without informing us. This caused a lot of disappointment among the residents. All she had to do was inform us and provide an alternative location while the filming took place. Instead, we were bothered for hours by a drone that invaded our privacy and disrupted our peaceful experience.

Όμορφες θέες, καταπληκτικά δωμάτια και, το καλύτερο από όλα, το απολύτως φιλικό προσωπικό (και η ιδιοκτήτρια) κάνουν αυτό το μέρος μοναδικό. Περάσαμε μερικές πολύ βροχερές μέρες στην Ταβεούνι, αλλά οι άνθρωποι εδώ φρόντισαν να μην είμαστε μόνο καλά ταϊσμένοι (αυτό το πρωινό 🤤 και μην χάσετε το δείπνο!) αλλά και διασκεδασμένοι. Η Μακαίρα ήταν μια φανταστική εμπειρία. Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό και αποφασισμένο να κάνουν τη διαμονή σας άψογη. Η Μαίρη ήταν μια εκπληκτική οικοδέσποινα. Το πρωινό είναι φανταστικό και σερβίρεται με μια υπέροχη θέα στον ωκεανό. Ειδικά εκτιμήσαμε τις φρέσκιες καρύδες που μας παρείχαν, πολύ αναζωογονητικές μετά την επιστροφή μας από την κατάδυση που μπορείτε να κάνετε σε 5 λεπτά περπάτημα. Ο εξοπλισμός κατάδυσης που παρέχεται στους επισκέπτες διευκολύνει πολύ την εμπειρία των υποβρύχιων κοραλλιών και ψαριών στην πόρτα σας. Είχαμε επίσης πολύ τύχη που συναντήσαμε τον Ατζάι, έναν φανταστικό τοπικό οδηγό ταξί που ήταν επίσης ο οδηγός μας και μας έδειξε γύρω από το νησί. Θα τον συνιστούσα ανεπιφύλακτα να τον καλέσετε. Πήραμε τον αριθμό του από το Τραμόντο, το υπέροχο μπαρ και εστιατόριο ακριβώς απέναντι από το θέρετρο! (Καταπληκτικό προσωπικό/ φαγητό και υπέροχες θέες εκεί επίσης!).
