Each of us received a cake and a bottle of champagne, and the restaurant warmly welcomed us with beautifully decorated tables for both breakfast and dinner. Le Meridien is truly a remarkable place, and I'm already making plans for my next trip there next year. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant manager, and the Villa were all outstanding - everything was absolutely perfect!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. Even before we arrived, the resort was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating via email to answer all of our questions. They reached out right after we booked to introduce themselves and let us know what information they would need before our arrival (we booked months in advance). They even sent us various PDFs with details about the different food packages, spa options and pricing, as well as activities. The Staff: There were so many staff members who went above and beyond... I wish I knew all of their names to give them a shout out, but here are a few. Migu and Absam were our hosts. Absam, who was in training, did an absolutely AMAZING job and went out of his way to make our stay extra special. We can't thank him enough! Both of them were wonderful. Robin, the GM at Velaa, was simply spectacular. He made sure to chat with each guest every day and ensured that everyone had an amazing experience. Dodi, the bartender at Riviera bar in the adults-only pool, was fantastic. We had so many enjoyable afternoons chatting with him and his passion for creating delicious drinks was evident. We spent a lot of time lounging by the adults-only pool/bar. Afzal, the personal trainer at the gym, was awesome. Despite it being the rainy season and the resort not being very busy, he still held his classes every morning at 8am. Sometimes I was the only one in the class, but he always gave 100% and provided a great workout. He mixed things up every day, which I really enjoyed (and I'm also a personal trainer, so double kudos to him!). Our Balinese Massages from Tashi and Rinchen were so good that we booked a second one before leaving! I usually get a massage every month and have my favorite masseuse, but Tashi gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! We were also fortunate enough to spend some time with the head chef of the resort, AsAf, who has done an incredible job. The staff at the restaurants were also incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming at each meal. From the restaurant staff to the lifeguards, the buggy drivers, and everyone else... everyone always greeted us with a smile and a hello. They were all so genuine and kind. Many of them even remembered our names when we returned. It was truly impressive. Seaplane: The round trip cost was $515 per person. The lounge was really nice and we were able to use it both when we departed and when we returned. They had a representative to assist us throughout the entire process. It did get quite warm in the lounge though, as there was no AC. They also weighed our bags and we had to pay an extra $68 for exceeding the weight limit. Amenities: The amenities were absolutely amazing. The gym was a standout feature and was incredibly nice. We also enjoyed the free activities such as gym classes, paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Snorkeling was particularly amazing as the water was so clear. We also took part in a paid activity, the sunset dolphin cruise, which was really cool. We got to see spinner dolphins, although the water could get quite rough. Spa: The spa was a beautiful space. Each massage room was like its own overwater bungalow and you could even see the fish while lying face down during the massage. I saw so many! Food/Hospitality: The food and hospitality were truly excellent. The resort had its own greenhouse, which is quite rare in the Maldives (only 1 of 4 resorts has this). Apart from a few minor issues with cooking temperatures, we enjoyed everything. At times, the pace of the meals felt a bit slow (especially after 6 days), but we understood that it was island time. Sometimes the food courses would arrive before our requested drinks, but the staff was always gracious and tried their best to accommodate us. We highly recommend opting for the All Inclusive package, as it is definitely worth it, especially when considering the prices of the à la carte options. There were so many moments of truly amazing hospitality, like when they found out we were feeling dehydrated and brought us special water to help us. Or when the lemon tarts were sold out for the day, but they came over during dinner that night to let us know that some were available and even offered to send us home with one. One of the highlights of our trip was when Absam surprised us with a private sunset beach moment. It was truly unforgettable. Overall, thanks to the staff, we would rate our experience a perfect 10/10. The views and our sunset overwater bungalow (which offered a more private view than the sunrise) were absolutely unforgettable.

If I were to condense all the amazing experiences we had here into one review, it would be like reading a novel. We traveled all the way from the USA for our wedding and honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The level of service here is exceptional. Each guest is assigned a dedicated staff member to cater to all their needs in their respective rooms. Similarly, you will have the same server for every meal who will be familiar with your food preferences and any dietary restrictions you may have. Since we have allergies and other dietary restrictions, the sous chef took the time to personally speak with us and ensure that all the food was safe for us to consume. Speaking of the food, it was unbelievably delicious. We were truly spoiled for choice at every meal. The island itself is stunning beyond words. The turquoise and blue waters and the pristine white sandy beaches are simply breathtaking. There is an abundance of wildlife here as well. We encountered baby sharks near the shoreline, sea turtles, crabs, hermit crabs, lizards, geckos, sea birds, fruit bats, and countless species of tropical fish. If you have a love for both the beach and animals, this is the perfect destination for you. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative aspect to mention. This place is genuinely a paradise! We would like to extend a special thank you to Waasil, Alex, and Youssef for making our trip incredibly beautiful and memorable!

Για τις πρώτες νύχτες επιλέξαμε μια Βίλα δίπλα στην παραλία με θέα το ηλιοβασίλεμα, όλα ήταν καθαρά και όμορφα, η υπηρεσία καθαριότητας ήρθε τόσο το πρωί όσο και το βράδυ. Στη συνέχεια αναβαθμίσαμε σε μια Βίλα με τζακούζι στο νερό. Άξιζε να ζήσουμε και τα δύο, το συστήνω πραγματικά. Το προσωπικό στο θέρετρο είναι πέρα από ευχάριστο και φιλικό. Το φιλοδώρημα δεν είναι φυσικά υποχρεωτικό, αλλά νιώσαμε την ανάγκη να το κάνουμε από καιρό σε καιρό γιατί όλοι οι υπάλληλοι ήταν πολύ εξαιρετικοί, ειλικρινά. Όλα πληρώνονται στην υποδοχή οπότε δεν περίμεναν να τους δώσουμε φιλοδώρημα ή οτιδήποτε άλλο, κάτι που πραγματικά εκτιμήσαμε. Συνολικά πολύ εντυπωσιασμένος!

I went to Innahura for a solo birthday trip and it was absolutely amazing. As someone who works in the Maldives, I was in need of a small break from work and my colleagues to have some fun and celebrate my birthday, and Innahura provided exactly that. The staff was incredibly friendly and assisted me in planning my activities to ensure that I stayed busy and entertained throughout my vacation. Innahura is one of the few resorts in the Maldives that specifically caters to solo travelers, and their activities are designed to encourage guests to socialize. To make my birthday extra special, the team had arranged a lovely birthday decoration made out of traditional coconut leaf origami on the bed.

Welcome to a slice of paradise – our most memorable family vacation yet! From the moment our sea plane touched down on this idyllic island, we were awestruck by its breathtaking beauty. The picturesque setting was beyond anything we could have imagined, and my photos hardly do it justice. But what truly sets Kanuhura apart as a world-class resort is its incredible staff. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like Norwegian royalty throughout our stay. The journey begins right after leaving the airport at Male, where Kanuhura has a comfortable lounge in the seaplane terminal – a welcome haven after a long flight, complete with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. The seaplane ride to the island, about 40 minutes, offers stunning views of the archipelago, and I couldn’t imagine staying at any other resort. Our accommodation, initially a water villa, was upgraded to a Grand Beach Pool villa. Located on the sunset side with a broader beach, it was absolutely perfect. Villa 131/132, where we stayed, is arguably the best on the island, conveniently next to the Iru beach bar in a gorgeous area. The villa’s spaciousness (250sqm) and separate bedrooms were impressive. The outdoor bathroom, with its night sky views, provided an unforgettable showering experience. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, maintaining everything impeccably. The inclusion of bicycles with each villa added a charming way to explore the island, from fruit bats to orchids. The breakfast buffet was a delight, featuring an array of regional fruits like mangoes, mangosteens, rambutan, and passion fruits. Our package included meals at the resort’s three main restaurants, where the staff, especially Mr. Raappe, an exemplary waiter, made us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Kanuhura is a superbly managed luxury resort, excelling in quality and service. My family adored every moment of our stay and highly recommends it. Kudos to the entire team at Kanuhura for setting such a high standard in hospitality. I eagerly look forward to our next visit.

This resort is one of the best I have ever stayed at. It is perfect for families with kids, but my partner and I also enjoyed our time here. While it may not be the ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts, it is perfect for divers like us. We had diving and snorkeling excursions almost every day, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the food was fantastic with reasonable prices. The buffet had different themes every day, so you never got bored. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The game room was always clean and tidy, and despite not being a large resort, everyone had plenty of personal space. Lastly, the water quality on the water villa side was better, and we even spotted some large stingrays swimming around.

I went to Innahura for a solo birthday trip and it was absolutely amazing. As someone who works in the Maldives, I was in need of a small break from work and my colleagues to have some fun and celebrate my birthday, and Innahura provided exactly that. The staff was incredibly friendly and assisted me in planning my activities to ensure that I stayed busy and entertained throughout my vacation. Innahura is one of the few resorts in the Maldives that specifically caters to solo travelers, and their activities are designed to encourage guests to socialize. To make my birthday extra special, the team had arranged a lovely birthday decoration made out of traditional coconut leaf origami on the bed.

Welcome to a slice of paradise – our most memorable family vacation yet! From the moment our sea plane touched down on this idyllic island, we were awestruck by its breathtaking beauty. The picturesque setting was beyond anything we could have imagined, and my photos hardly do it justice. But what truly sets Kanuhura apart as a world-class resort is its incredible staff. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like Norwegian royalty throughout our stay. The journey begins right after leaving the airport at Male, where Kanuhura has a comfortable lounge in the seaplane terminal – a welcome haven after a long flight, complete with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. The seaplane ride to the island, about 40 minutes, offers stunning views of the archipelago, and I couldn’t imagine staying at any other resort. Our accommodation, initially a water villa, was upgraded to a Grand Beach Pool villa. Located on the sunset side with a broader beach, it was absolutely perfect. Villa 131/132, where we stayed, is arguably the best on the island, conveniently next to the Iru beach bar in a gorgeous area. The villa’s spaciousness (250sqm) and separate bedrooms were impressive. The outdoor bathroom, with its night sky views, provided an unforgettable showering experience. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, maintaining everything impeccably. The inclusion of bicycles with each villa added a charming way to explore the island, from fruit bats to orchids. The breakfast buffet was a delight, featuring an array of regional fruits like mangoes, mangosteens, rambutan, and passion fruits. Our package included meals at the resort’s three main restaurants, where the staff, especially Mr. Raappe, an exemplary waiter, made us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Kanuhura is a superbly managed luxury resort, excelling in quality and service. My family adored every moment of our stay and highly recommends it. Kudos to the entire team at Kanuhura for setting such a high standard in hospitality. I eagerly look forward to our next visit.

This resort is one of the best I have ever stayed at. It is perfect for families with kids, but my partner and I also enjoyed our time here. While it may not be the ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts, it is perfect for divers like us. We had diving and snorkeling excursions almost every day, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the food was fantastic with reasonable prices. The buffet had different themes every day, so you never got bored. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The game room was always clean and tidy, and despite not being a large resort, everyone had plenty of personal space. Lastly, the water quality on the water villa side was better, and we even spotted some large stingrays swimming around.

An ultra-premium resort in the Maldives offering the highest quality of service. One of their unique features is the 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, where you can dine beneath the sea. I absolutely loved this place. It's about an hour's flight by seaplane from Malé International Airport. In terms of cost, it’s an expensive property and likely ranks among the top 5% of premium resorts in the Maldives, but the money spent here is well worth it. I stayed in an Ocean Villa with a pool, which spans around 1,500 square feet and includes a large deck and a private pool, perfect for enjoying ocean views with a splash. The resort boasts multiple restaurants to cater to diverse tastes, with the food primarily being continental cuisine.

The staff at Le Meridien was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They made our birthday celebration truly unforgettable by going above and beyond. Each of us received a cake and a bottle of champagne, and the restaurant warmly welcomed us with beautifully decorated tables for both breakfast and dinner. Le Meridien is truly a remarkable place, and I'm already making plans for my next trip there next year. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant manager, and the Villa were all outstanding - everything was absolutely perfect!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. Even before we arrived, the resort was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating via email to answer all of our questions. They reached out right after we booked to introduce themselves and let us know what information they would need before our arrival (we booked months in advance). They even sent us various PDFs with details about the different food packages, spa options and pricing, as well as activities. The Staff: There were so many staff members who went above and beyond... I wish I knew all of their names to give them a shout out, but here are a few. Migu and Absam were our hosts. Absam, who was in training, did an absolutely AMAZING job and went out of his way to make our stay extra special. We can't thank him enough! Both of them were wonderful. Robin, the GM at Velaa, was simply spectacular. He made sure to chat with each guest every day and ensured that everyone had an amazing experience. Dodi, the bartender at Riviera bar in the adults-only pool, was fantastic. We had so many enjoyable afternoons chatting with him and his passion for creating delicious drinks was evident. We spent a lot of time lounging by the adults-only pool/bar. Afzal, the personal trainer at the gym, was awesome. Despite it being the rainy season and the resort not being very busy, he still held his classes every morning at 8am. Sometimes I was the only one in the class, but he always gave 100% and provided a great workout. He mixed things up every day, which I really enjoyed (and I'm also a personal trainer, so double kudos to him!). Our Balinese Massages from Tashi and Rinchen were so good that we booked a second one before leaving! I usually get a massage every month and have my favorite masseuse, but Tashi gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! We were also fortunate enough to spend some time with the head chef of the resort, AsAf, who has done an incredible job. The staff at the restaurants were also incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming at each meal. From the restaurant staff to the lifeguards, the buggy drivers, and everyone else... everyone always greeted us with a smile and a hello. They were all so genuine and kind. Many of them even remembered our names when we returned. It was truly impressive. Seaplane: The round trip cost was $515 per person. The lounge was really nice and we were able to use it both when we departed and when we returned. They had a representative to assist us throughout the entire process. It did get quite warm in the lounge though, as there was no AC. They also weighed our bags and we had to pay an extra $68 for exceeding the weight limit. Amenities: The amenities were absolutely amazing. The gym was a standout feature and was incredibly nice. We also enjoyed the free activities such as gym classes, paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Snorkeling was particularly amazing as the water was so clear. We also took part in a paid activity, the sunset dolphin cruise, which was really cool. We got to see spinner dolphins, although the water could get quite rough. Spa: The spa was a beautiful space. Each massage room was like its own overwater bungalow and you could even see the fish while lying face down during the massage. I saw so many! Food/Hospitality: The food and hospitality were truly excellent. The resort had its own greenhouse, which is quite rare in the Maldives (only 1 of 4 resorts has this). Apart from a few minor issues with cooking temperatures, we enjoyed everything. At times, the pace of the meals felt a bit slow (especially after 6 days), but we understood that it was island time. Sometimes the food courses would arrive before our requested drinks, but the staff was always gracious and tried their best to accommodate us. We highly recommend opting for the All Inclusive package, as it is definitely worth it, especially when considering the prices of the à la carte options. There were so many moments of truly amazing hospitality, like when they found out we were feeling dehydrated and brought us special water to help us. Or when the lemon tarts were sold out for the day, but they came over during dinner that night to let us know that some were available and even offered to send us home with one. One of the highlights of our trip was when Absam surprised us with a private sunset beach moment. It was truly unforgettable. Overall, thanks to the staff, we would rate our experience a perfect 10/10. The views and our sunset overwater bungalow (which offered a more private view than the sunrise) were absolutely unforgettable.

If I were to condense all the amazing experiences we had here into one review, it would be like reading a novel. We traveled all the way from the USA for our wedding and honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The level of service here is exceptional. Each guest is assigned a dedicated staff member to cater to all their needs in their respective rooms. Similarly, you will have the same server for every meal who will be familiar with your food preferences and any dietary restrictions you may have. Since we have allergies and other dietary restrictions, the sous chef took the time to personally speak with us and ensure that all the food was safe for us to consume. Speaking of the food, it was unbelievably delicious. We were truly spoiled for choice at every meal. The island itself is stunning beyond words. The turquoise and blue waters and the pristine white sandy beaches are simply breathtaking. There is an abundance of wildlife here as well. We encountered baby sharks near the shoreline, sea turtles, crabs, hermit crabs, lizards, geckos, sea birds, fruit bats, and countless species of tropical fish. If you have a love for both the beach and animals, this is the perfect destination for you. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative aspect to mention. This place is genuinely a paradise! We would like to extend a special thank you to Waasil, Alex, and Youssef for making our trip incredibly beautiful and memorable!

The lounge was really nice and we were able to use it both when we departed and when we returned. They had a representative to assist us throughout the entire process. It did get quite warm in the lounge though, as there was no AC. They also weighed our bags and we had to pay an extra $68 for exceeding the weight limit. Amenities: The amenities were absolutely amazing. The gym was a standout feature and was incredibly nice. We also enjoyed the free activities such as gym classes, paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Snorkeling was particularly amazing as the water was so clear. We also took part in a paid activity, the sunset dolphin cruise, which was really cool. We got to see spinner dolphins, although the water could get quite rough. Spa: The spa was a beautiful space. Each massage room was like its own overwater bungalow and you could even see the fish while lying face down during the massage. I saw so many! Food/Hospitality: The food and hospitality were truly excellent. The resort had its own greenhouse, which is quite rare in the Maldives (only 1 of 4 resorts has this). Apart from a few minor issues with cooking temperatures, we enjoyed everything. At times, the pace of the meals felt a bit slow (especially after 6 days), but we understood that it was island time. Sometimes the food courses would arrive before our requested drinks, but the staff was always gracious and tried their best to accommodate us. We highly recommend opting for the All Inclusive package, as it is definitely worth it, especially when considering the prices of the à la carte options. There were so many moments of truly amazing hospitality, like when they found out we were feeling dehydrated and brought us special water to help us. Or when the lemon tarts were sold out for the day, but they came over during dinner that night to let us know that some were available and even offered to send us home with one. One of the highlights of our trip was when Absam surprised us with a private sunset beach moment. It was truly unforgettable. Overall, thanks to the staff, we would rate our experience a perfect 10/10. The views and our sunset overwater bungalow (which offered a more private view than the sunrise) were absolutely unforgettable.

We traveled all the way from the USA for our wedding and honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The level of service here is exceptional. Each guest is assigned a dedicated staff member to cater to all their needs in their respective rooms. Similarly, you will have the same server for every meal who will be familiar with your food preferences and any dietary restrictions you may have. Since we have allergies and other dietary restrictions, the sous chef took the time to personally speak with us and ensure that all the food was safe for us to consume. Speaking of the food, it was unbelievably delicious. We were truly spoiled for choice at every meal. The island itself is stunning beyond words. The turquoise and blue waters and the pristine white sandy beaches are simply breathtaking. There is an abundance of wildlife here as well. We encountered baby sharks near the shoreline, sea turtles, crabs, hermit crabs, lizards, geckos, sea birds, fruit bats, and countless species of tropical fish. If you have a love for both the beach and animals, this is the perfect destination for you. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative aspect to mention. This place is genuinely a paradise! Στη συνέχεια αναβαθμίσαμε σε μια Βίλα με τζακούζι στο νερό. Άξιζε να ζήσουμε και τα δύο, το συστήνω πραγματικά. Το προσωπικό στο θέρετρο είναι πέρα από ευχάριστο και φιλικό. Το φιλοδώρημα δεν είναι φυσικά υποχρεωτικό, αλλά νιώσαμε την ανάγκη να το κάνουμε από καιρό σε καιρό γιατί όλοι οι υπάλληλοι ήταν πολύ εξαιρετικοί, ειλικρινά. The picturesque setting was beyond anything we could have imagined, and my photos hardly do it justice. But what truly sets Kanuhura apart as a world-class resort is its incredible staff. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like Norwegian royalty throughout our stay. The journey begins right after leaving the airport at Male, where Kanuhura has a comfortable lounge in the seaplane terminal – a welcome haven after a long flight, complete with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. The seaplane ride to the island, about 40 minutes, offers stunning views of the archipelago, and I couldn’t imagine staying at any other resort. Our accommodation, initially a water villa, was upgraded to a Grand Beach Pool villa. Located on the sunset side with a broader beach, it was absolutely perfect. Villa 131/132, where we stayed, is arguably the best on the island, conveniently next to the Iru beach bar in a gorgeous area. The villa’s spaciousness (250sqm) and separate bedrooms were impressive. The outdoor bathroom, with its night sky views, provided an unforgettable showering experience. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, maintaining everything impeccably. The inclusion of bicycles with each villa added a charming way to explore the island, from fruit bats to orchids. The breakfast buffet was a delight, featuring an array of regional fruits like mangoes, mangosteens, rambutan, and passion fruits. Our package included meals at the resort’s three main restaurants, where the staff, especially Mr. Raappe, an exemplary waiter, made us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Kanuhura is a superbly managed luxury resort, excelling in quality and service. My family adored every moment of our stay and highly recommends it. Kudos to the entire team at Kanuhura for setting such a high standard in hospitality. I eagerly look forward to our next visit.

This resort is one of the best I have ever stayed at. It is perfect for families with kids, but my partner and I also enjoyed our time here. While it may not be the ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts, it is perfect for divers like us. We had diving and snorkeling excursions almost every day, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the food was fantastic with reasonable prices. The buffet had different themes every day, so you never got bored. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The game room was always clean and tidy, and despite not being a large resort, everyone had plenty of personal space. Lastly, the water quality on the water villa side was better, and we even spotted some large stingrays swimming around.

I absolutely loved this place. It's about an hour's flight by seaplane from Malé International Airport. In terms of cost, it’s an expensive property and likely ranks among the top 5% of premium resorts in the Maldives, but the money spent here is well worth it. I stayed in an Ocean Villa with a pool, which spans around 1,500 square feet and includes a large deck and a private pool, perfect for enjoying ocean views with a splash. The resort boasts multiple restaurants to cater to diverse tastes, with the food primarily being continental cuisine.

The staff at Le Meridien was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They made our birthday celebration truly unforgettable by going above and beyond. Each of us received a cake and a bottle of champagne, and the restaurant warmly welcomed us with beautifully decorated tables for both breakfast and dinner. Le Meridien is truly a remarkable place, and I'm already making plans for my next trip there next year. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant manager, and the Villa were all outstanding - everything was absolutely perfect!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. Even before we arrived, the resort was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating via email to answer all of our questions. They reached out right after we booked to introduce themselves and let us know what information they would need before our arrival (we booked months in advance). They even sent us various PDFs with details about the different food packages, spa options and pricing, as well as activities. The Staff: There were so many staff members who went above and beyond... I wish I knew all of their names to give them a shout out, but here are a few. Migu and Absam were our hosts. Absam, who was in training, did an absolutely AMAZING job and went out of his way to make our stay extra special. We can't thank him enough! Both of them were wonderful. Robin, the GM at Velaa, was simply spectacular. He made sure to chat with each guest every day and ensured that everyone had an amazing experience. Dodi, the bartender at Riviera bar in the adults-only pool, was fantastic. We had so many enjoyable afternoons chatting with him and his passion for creating delicious drinks was evident. We spent a lot of time lounging by the adults-only pool/bar. Afzal, the personal trainer at the gym, was awesome. Despite it being the rainy season and the resort not being very busy, he still held his classes every morning at 8am. Sometimes I was the only one in the class, but he always gave 100% and provided a great workout. He mixed things up every day, which I really enjoyed (and I'm also a personal trainer, so double kudos to him!). Our Balinese Massages from Tashi and Rinchen were so good that we booked a second one before leaving! I usually get a massage every month and have my favorite masseuse, but Tashi gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! We were also fortunate enough to spend some time with the head chef of the resort, AsAf, who has done an incredible job. The staff at the restaurants were also incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming at each meal. From the restaurant staff to the lifeguards, the buggy drivers, and everyone else... everyone always greeted us with a smile and a hello. They were all so genuine and kind. The staff at Le Meridien was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They made our birthday celebration truly unforgettable by going above and beyond. Each of us received a cake and a bottle of champagne, and the restaurant warmly welcomed us with beautifully decorated tables for both breakfast and dinner. Le Meridien is truly a remarkable place, and I'm already making plans for my next trip there next year. The hotel, the staff, the restaurant manager, and the Villa were all outstanding - everything was absolutely perfect!

From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip truly special. Even before we arrived, the resort was extremely helpful and excellent at communicating via email to answer all of our questions. They reached out right after we booked to introduce themselves and let us know what information they would need before our arrival (we booked months in advance). They even sent us various PDFs with details about the different food packages, spa options and pricing, as well as activities. The Staff: There were so many staff members who went above and beyond... I wish I knew all of their names to give them a shout out, but here are a few. Migu and Absam were our hosts. Absam, who was in training, did an absolutely AMAZING job and went out of his way to make our stay extra special. We can't thank him enough! Both of them were wonderful. Robin, the GM at Velaa, was simply spectacular. He made sure to chat with each guest every day and ensured that everyone had an amazing experience. Dodi, the bartender at Riviera bar in the adults-only pool, was fantastic. We had so many enjoyable afternoons chatting with him and his passion for creating delicious drinks was evident. We spent a lot of time lounging by the adults-only pool/bar. Afzal, the personal trainer at the gym, was awesome. Despite it being the rainy season and the resort not being very busy, he still held his classes every morning at 8am. Sometimes I was the only one in the class, but he always gave 100% and provided a great workout. He mixed things up every day, which I really enjoyed (and I'm also a personal trainer, so double kudos to him!). Our Balinese Massages from Tashi and Rinchen were so good that we booked a second one before leaving! I usually get a massage every month and have my favorite masseuse, but Tashi gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! We were also fortunate enough to spend some time with the head chef of the resort, AsAf, who has done an incredible job. The staff at the restaurants were also incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming at each meal. From the restaurant staff to the lifeguards, the buggy drivers, and everyone else... everyone always greeted us with a smile and a hello. They were all so genuine and kind. Many of them even remembered our names when we returned. It was truly impressive. Seaplane: The round trip cost was $515 per person. The lounge was really nice and we were able to use it both when we departed and when we returned. They had a representative to assist us throughout the entire process. It did get quite warm in the lounge though, as there was no AC. They also weighed our bags and we had to pay an extra $68 for exceeding the weight limit. Amenities: The amenities were absolutely amazing. The gym was a standout feature and was incredibly nice. We also enjoyed the free activities such as gym classes, paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. Snorkeling was particularly amazing as the water was so clear. We also took part in a paid activity, the sunset dolphin cruise, which was really cool. We got to see spinner dolphins, although the water could get quite rough. Spa: The spa was a beautiful space. Each massage room was like its own overwater bungalow and you could even see the fish while lying face down during the massage. I saw so many! Food/Hospitality: The food and hospitality were truly excellent. The resort had its own greenhouse, which is quite rare in the Maldives (only 1 of 4 resorts has this). Apart from a few minor issues with cooking temperatures, we enjoyed everything. At times, the pace of the meals felt a bit slow (especially after 6 days), but we understood that it was island time. Sometimes the food courses would arrive before our requested drinks, but the staff was always gracious and tried their best to accommodate us. We highly recommend opting for the All Inclusive package, as it is definitely worth it, especially when considering the prices of the à la carte options. There were so many moments of truly amazing hospitality, like when they found out we were feeling dehydrated and brought us special water to help us. Or when the lemon tarts were sold out for the day, but they came over during dinner that night to let us know that some were available and even offered to send us home with one. One of the highlights of our trip was when Absam surprised us with a private sunset beach moment. It was truly unforgettable. Overall, thanks to the staff, we would rate our experience a perfect 10/10. The views and our sunset overwater bungalow (which offered a more private view than the sunrise) were absolutely unforgettable.

I went to Innahura for a solo birthday trip and it was absolutely amazing. As someone who works in the Maldives, I was in need of a small break from work and my colleagues to have some fun and celebrate my birthday, and Innahura provided exactly that. The staff was incredibly friendly and assisted me in planning my activities to ensure that I stayed busy and entertained throughout my vacation. Innahura is one of the few resorts in the Maldives that specifically caters to solo travelers, and their activities are designed to encourage guests to socialize. To make my birthday extra special, the team had arranged a lovely birthday decoration made out of traditional coconut leaf origami on the bed.

Welcome to a slice of paradise – our most memorable family vacation yet! From the moment our sea plane touched down on this idyllic island, we were awestruck by its breathtaking beauty. The picturesque setting was beyond anything we could have imagined, and my photos hardly do it justice. But what truly sets Kanuhura apart as a world-class resort is its incredible staff. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like Norwegian royalty throughout our stay. The journey begins right after leaving the airport at Male, where Kanuhura has a comfortable lounge in the seaplane terminal – a welcome haven after a long flight, complete with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. The seaplane ride to the island, about 40 minutes, offers stunning views of the archipelago, and I couldn’t imagine staying at any other resort. Our accommodation, initially a water villa, was upgraded to a Grand Beach Pool villa. Located on the sunset side with a broader beach, it was absolutely perfect. Villa 131/132, where we stayed, is arguably the best on the island, conveniently next to the Iru beach bar in a gorgeous area. The villa’s spaciousness (250sqm) and separate bedrooms were impressive. The outdoor bathroom, with its night sky views, provided an unforgettable showering experience. Housekeeping did an outstanding job, maintaining everything impeccably. The inclusion of bicycles with each villa added a charming way to explore the island, from fruit bats to orchids. The breakfast buffet was a delight, featuring an array of regional fruits like mangoes, mangosteens, rambutan, and passion fruits. Our package included meals at the resort’s three main restaurants, where the staff, especially Mr. Raappe, an exemplary waiter, made us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Kanuhura is a superbly managed luxury resort, excelling in quality and service. My family adored every moment of our stay and highly recommends it. Kudos to the entire team at Kanuhura for setting such a high standard in hospitality. I eagerly look forward to our next visit.

This resort is one of the best I have ever stayed at. It is perfect for families with kids, but my partner and I also enjoyed our time here. While it may not be the ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts, it is perfect for divers like us. We had diving and snorkeling excursions almost every day, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the food was fantastic with reasonable prices. The buffet had different themes every day, so you never got bored. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The game room was always clean and tidy, and despite not being a large resort, everyone had plenty of personal space. Lastly, the water quality on the water villa side was better, and we even spotted some large stingrays swimming around.

An ultra-premium resort in the Maldives offering the highest quality of service. One of their unique features is the 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, where you can dine beneath the sea. I absolutely loved this place. It's about an hour's flight by seaplane from Malé International Airport. In terms of cost, it’s an expensive property and likely ranks among the top 5% of premium resorts in the Maldives, but the money spent here is well worth it. I stayed in an Ocean Villa with a pool, which spans around 1,500 square feet and includes a large deck and a private pool, perfect for enjoying ocean views with a splash. The resort boasts multiple restaurants to cater to diverse tastes, with the food primarily being continental cuisine.

If I were to condense all the amazing experiences we had here into one review, it would be like reading a novel. We traveled all the way from the USA for our wedding and honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The level of service here is exceptional. Each guest is assigned a dedicated staff member to cater to all their needs in their respective rooms. Similarly, you will have the same server for every meal who will be familiar with your food preferences and any dietary restrictions you may have. Since we have allergies and other dietary restrictions, the sous chef took the time to personally speak with us and ensure that all the food was safe for us to consume. Speaking of the food, it was unbelievably delicious. We were truly spoiled for choice at every meal. The island itself is stunning beyond words. The turquoise and blue waters and the pristine white sandy beaches are simply breathtaking. There is an abundance of wildlife here as well. We encountered baby sharks near the shoreline, sea turtles, crabs, hermit crabs, lizards, geckos, sea birds, fruit bats, and countless species of tropical fish. If you have a love for both the beach and animals, this is the perfect destination for you. We genuinely cannot think of a single negative aspect to mention. This place is genuinely a paradise! We would like to extend a special thank you to Waasil, Alex, and Youssef for making our trip incredibly beautiful and memorable!
