Banj beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 5th place out of 87 beaches in the Šibenik-Knin region 1.3 km away from its center, the city of Sibenik. It is one of the beaches of Sibenik settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.
It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
