Plage Gurp is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 20th place out of 27 beaches in the Gironde region 79.9 km away from its center, the city of Bordeaux. It is one of the beaches of Vidau settlement, just 4.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth.
