Filippos beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 367 beaches in the Central Macedonia region 84.2 km away from its center, the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the beaches of Galini settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
