Thapsa beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 3th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 139.5 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Paralia Metochiou settlement, just 5.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
