Kastani beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 2th place out of 348 beaches in the Thessaly region 121.2 km away from its center, the city of Larissa. It is one of the beaches of Panormos settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
