St. Stephen's Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 12th place out of 87 beaches in the Hong Kong region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

"There aren't many people on weekdays, and there's plenty of parking space available. The sand isn't very smooth, but it's still a nice place to relax and sunbathe if you prefer a less crowded beach during the week. Afterward, you can grab a bite to eat in Stanley. There are lifeguards on duty until 5 or 6 pm."
