Kura-kura Beach is located on the Bali Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 115th place out of 151 beaches in the West Nusa Tenggara region 52.7 km away from its center, the city of Mataram. It is one of the beaches of Pantai Surga settlement, just 1.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

"This beach is apparently clean and nice, but don't expect me to be impressed. It's just another sandy stretch of land with water nearby. And while I'm sure some people will give it a big recommendation with heart-eyed emojis, I'm not one of them. The least we can do is keep it clean, though I doubt that will be enough to make it stand out from all the other beaches. Oh, and ..."
