Desert Point Beach is located on the Bali Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 25th place out of 151 beaches in the West Nusa Tenggara region 34.3 km away from its center, the city of Mataram. It is one of the beaches of Pewaringan settlement, just 9.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.
