Playa Teresa is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 118th place out of 224 beaches in the Puerto Rico region 58 km away from its center, the city of San Juan. It is one of the beaches of La Pica settlement, just 5.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.
Playa Teresa coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

Playa Teresa (Puerto Rico) is located outside the La Pica settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.
The beach stretches on the sunny coast, but accessing the beach requires traversing some distance on foot. While driving or cycling are the most convenient options for reaching the start point of trail, these methods may not be feasible for everyone. Alternatively, a taxi can be used to drive directly to the location. Public transportation is another option, but it's important to confirm the correct route with locals beforehand as the bus stop may be located at some distance.

The Playa Teresa is covered with golden shell sand. Unfortunately it's not very clean, the surface is pure and unmixed. Turquoise and clear water sparkles in the sun. The entrance to the water is shelly, which makes it quite convenient.
For the main activity - sunbathing, there are no sun loungers on the Playa Teresa, so you need to take personal items with you and there is no natural shade, so be careful on a hot day.
The entrance to the water is gentle, the bottom is comfortable. The prevalence of sharks in the area is low.
Playa Teresa does not have a wave-protected swimming area, but there are usually no strong waves during the season.
Family travelers should consider the following features of the beach. This is the natural virgin beach with minimal amenities. It's covered with shell sand and the entrance to the water is gentle.
