It is one of the beaches of Homician settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and gray pebble, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Playa de los Troches (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) is located outside the Homician settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast.
