Lido Locarno is located on the Lake Maggiore and it is in the 13th place out of 20 beaches in the Ticino region 20.9 km away from its center, the city of Lugano. It is one of the beaches of Locarno settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and grass, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
