Karon Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 70 beaches in the Phuket region 11.5 km away from its center, the city of Phuket. It is one of the beaches of Ban Karon settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Karon Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
