Fundu Lagoon is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 3th place out of 2 beaches in the South Pemba region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Fundu Lagoon coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road.

Fundu Lagoon is located in South Pemba within Wambaa, which makes it not only easily accessible, but even popular among tourists. However, during the high season it is quite uncrowded, which allows you to spend a comfortable time on the coast.

"I had a fantastic time at this beach, even though my comment is a bit late (exactly 5 years late!). The best part about it was how remote it was, which I really enjoyed. While there weren't a lot of diving options, it would definitely be satisfying for beginners. Although I won't be returning, it was definitely a memorable experience that I'll cherish forever."

"I had an absolutely fantastic weekend at the beach. The location, food, and service were all perfect. I even got to hear the Pemba Scops Owl at night and enjoyed exploring the beautiful indigenous forest surrounding the lodge. The snorkeling at the Misali Coral Reef was also fantastic."
