Kendwa Beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 7th place out of 12 beaches in the Zanzibar North region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Kendwa Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

"The beach has the most incredible sunset I've seen in a while. I got there in the evening and missed the full moon, but caught a glimpse of it on my way there. It was a shame I couldn't take a picture since I wasn't sitting by the bus window. Regardless, it was absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a sunset cruise, this is the place to book. You won't be disappointed."

"The beach in Kendea is absolutely fantastic! The white sands and turquoise water make for a perfect swimming experience. Don't forget your sunglasses though, as the sun reflecting off the sand can be quite bright. There are a few places to grab a bite to eat or drink, but some only serve food after 12:30pm."
