I wouldn't exactly describe it as a park, but more of a beach. That being said, it's a stunning beach with a clean and picturesque view of the Ludington lighthouse. There are no playground facilities, and the only restroom options are porta potties.
This beach is one of our top picks for catching the stunning Lake Michigan sunsets. The water can be a bit choppy on the south side of the pier, but it's perfect for a leisurely stroll along the shore. Restroom options are limited to porta potties, but there is ample parking available.
The beach is located in a nice small park with convenient parking right next to it. The beach is easily accessible and there are two porta potties available in the parking lot. However, aside from that, there are no other amenities. The park side of the beach connects to the Buttersville campground beach, which tends to be less crowded.
This beach is a hidden gem. It's just a short walk from your campsite and is dog-friendly.
I really enjoyed this beach because it was easy for my older dog to enjoy. The parking is right next to the beach area, they provide doggy bags, there are porta-potties available, and there are wooden stairs to the left that lead to a trail. Overall, it's a great spot.
