The beach offers of stunning beauty with its unique red sand, setting it apart from the rest. However, its narrow stretch limits its size, and when it gets crowded, finding a spot to stand becomes a challenge.

This beach in Kefalonia is well-known and conveniently located near Argostoli, only a 10-minute drive away. The water is stunning, but it's important to note that it can get extremely crowded and expensive. The parking lot is fairly large. The beach has both organized and unorganized areas, with the organized section being quite costly compared to other beaches on the island. However, we were able to find a more affordable option at the Blue Paradise beach bar. While some reviews suggested that outside food and drinks were not allowed, we had a positive experience with friendly waiters who didn't mind us bringing our own snacks and water. We even had lunch there without any issues. Unfortunately, there is no shade available, so it can get quite hot. If you opt for the unorganized area, be sure to bring your own umbrella. The water is crystal clear and warm, almost like a pool, but it's too shallow for snorkeling.

There's a small road that leads to this hidden gem of a beach, where you'll find large pebbles, crystal-clear water teeming with fish. It's perfect for a quick snorkeling adventure and a refreshing dip to beat the heat!

The temperature was pleasant, around 24°C, and the water was comfortably warm. The beach had a sufficient amount of sand, making it enjoyable for our family to spend time in the water. The depth of the water was ideal, ranging from 2 to 4 feet for a considerable distance. Although there was limited shade available, we were able to find a parasol in town and brought it along. The beach was great for snorkeling, and there was no need for rock climbing to access it.
